    Default Cheap Yard Work

I'm looking for someone to do some landscaping to the front yard, or hill, in front of my house that has plants in it. I'm not looking for design or anything big. I'm talking about pulling weeds every couple weeks. I am allergic to everything out there and the weeds grow back every couple weeks and I just can't keep up with it anymore. If anyone has a name or contact info, pass it along. Thanks

Holy! Did you really have that much? My garden is overgrown and I am just doing it piecemeal every week and out with the trash!

Did you not go to the Recycling Center in Fairmount Park? They charge $40 per ton with a $10 minimum for brush and clippings. Multiple trips?

Don't people have neighbors with kids anymore who want to make a few bucks?

Yes, I did, weighed to just over 1900 lbs (just under a ton for LIN ). And if you're ever going to be in QV, shoot me a line, I'll be happy to show you the place.

I did not. I'm in QV, and with a ton (literally) of stuff in a 1500 pickup, I wanted to minimize travel. Plus, it is more than just brush and clippings. It was a lot (probably half of the weight) of that white crushed stone that was EVERYWHERE and I don't find attractive, especially in the space, as well as dirt, plant matter, including a bunch of cut back ivy, broken pots, etc. Just a bunch of 'yard-type' junk from someone who obviously didn't spend much time on the area, and it is a beautiful space that deserves to look it's best.

Initially, I went to go to the transfer station under the WW (which is $80/ton). At 3:15 they advised me that they stop taking cash and credit at 3. I had to drive all the way to Bridesburg, and pay 40% more, but it was worth it to get rid of the crap.

Not my neighborhood. There are only a couple toddlers around the block and the rest are retirees. That was my first thought.
