If you live and vote in Northwest Philadelphia; and you or someone you know needs information or assistance regarding the New PA Voter ID law. We urge you to attend this very important town meeting. The meeting will be held at New Bethel AME Church, 6153 Germantown Avenue, 3 pm - pm
Topics will cover:
What IDs are acceptable to vote in the November election and future elections (Ids aren't needed in the Primary this year)
Where to go if you need a valid photo ID
What to do if you do not have a birth certificate
What are acceptable IDs for voters with a religous objection to being photographed
College IDs
The ACLU will also be there to explain your rights under this new law. They will also attempt to recruit plaintiffs for their lawsuit against the State.
This law mainly affects seniors and young first-time voters who may not have ID or a birth Certificate. Since seniors are deemed as super voters, it is imperative that we give then all the assitance they need.
