    No union guys are out on comp. None.

    What Beer is good said is not entirely accurate about what happened today. There is an Asian carpentry crew on the job, but that is not relevant. The mobile scaffolding covering the front of the building (its like a cross between a scaffold and an elevator) is both supplied and installed by a large company named Fraco. It is a product proprietary to them, and everyone with a need for it, both union and non-union firms, uses this company. It was one of their workers that was injured while erecting a piece of steel for the scaffold, not an "asian carpenter". He was both wearing a hard hat and was tied in with a safety harness when the accident happened. He got a lot of stitches but is ok.

He was taken by rescue squad to the hospital. I do not have any further details but will post as I find out.
    I'm sure you will, all in the name of being informative and whatnot.

    Of course they do.

    We should all be so lucky that the next large piece of steel goes flying through a window and lands on those fatasses standing around on the sidewalk. After so many on here have defended you, you turn to mean-spirited, malevolent disinformation intended to hurt someone else's honest business. Sooooo typical union.

    You don't say? He's a union shill and a liar? I'm shocked. Tell me more!

    Not a fractured skull? Not a non-union Asian carpenter? The same guys that work on union jobs? Hmm...but I'll bet OSHA was called anyway. You know, just in case. All out of concern, etc.

    Is this sarcasm? We're talking about the building in Chinatown, right? If they did hire an "all Asian carpentry company," they're more local than anyone.

    Yes. Thankfully all the trolls on the street were looking for a reason to call up OSHA and shut down the site...and offer up an inflated tenth hand account of what happened. Thankfully.

    Thanks for setting the record straight.
    If you believe people should work till they die to pay for a government worker to retire at 50, you're a Democrat. Otherwise, you're a Republican. All other differences between the parties are trivial.

    Did you forget? Beer is good is just reminding you how to tell union and non-union apart.

    white = "local" union worker

    anything else = non-union foreign dog

    The inflatable rat made in China by non-union labor. I can't wait to see the protests on Broad Street at the Atlantic building that will probably be starting soon.
