Default Exterior odds and ends contractors

Looking for recommendations on contractors for East Mt Airy home. Sidewalk repair/replacement, exterior painting, and a few tree limbs to remove. Not necessarily seeking the same guy for all three... The primary criterion is cheap, rather than quality. Recommendations, Northwesties?

We had Brendan Ryan paint the exterior of our house and we were very happy with his work. Very professional and quality work. His price was reasonable too.

I have used the "cheap" criterion before for home repairs and got what I paid for.

Sounds like someone is getting ready to sell.

I, too, am looking for an exterior painter. Being new to the area, I would appreciate more suggestions anyone has to give. Its difficult to trust people without recommendations. In the meantime, I will try calling Brendan Ryan as mentioned above.

Not getting ready to sell... Just looking at the potential value of the home comparable to comps in the neighborhood. Which unfortunately dictates the quality standard that it makes sense to pursue... Plus, fixing squares of concrete sidewalk that are public property and repainting some exterior trim in the same colors when most of the house is brick are just non-satisfying expenditures. Would rather save money for interior work that affects our quality of life.

Use the search feature and search either painting or Brendan Ryan in this forum or the home repair forum. There have been a lot of good reviews of Brendan and his crew. I found him through PS too.

Brendan painted my next door neighbors house and repaired their roof as well and did a great job. Try Sam from Arbor Care for the tree limbs 267-307-2364

Brendan painted our metal bilco doors about 1.5yrs ago and it is holding up. He used different paint than the wood paint. I don't know if that translates to metal awnings can be painted though.
