Default Hello Sugar on Willow Grove - grand opening this weekend

This looks like a new art space - slash - modern goods store opening on 12 Willow Grove.

    hello-sugar

Opening this weekend, Saturday 3/3, from 5-7 PM; apparently there will be pinball machines too.

Looks like a nice follow-up to Nomad. Thanks for the heads up. I'll stop in.

    Agreed.

I believe it was reported that the location was going to become a Balance. I wonder if that has changed. Perhaps this is just another short term lease like Nomad.

I can't help but note that it is opening this week end - before anyone has had a chance to oppose it! Oh my.

I'm sure it's a popup. I received a letter from Balance asking for our support. I assume nothing has changed. They have their hands full with my neighbors, who have a legitimate complaint about parking based on Balance's estimates. The garage already takes up a portion of Willow Grove and Roanoke during the day, and by 7pm the street is usually full. I don't much care. I'd prefer a modern or contemporary furniture or whatever store anchored there—or a little market with prepared food, but, hey, you know.

Yeah; well we all know how that story ends.

Good to know that you are a true near neighbor voicing your opinions.
