Kinda new to the area. I was walking my dog today and saw the recycling guys picking up. They were nice enough to give me an extra bin that they had in their truck but I forgot to ask what day they do pickup. Between the holiday and the crazy weather I wasn't sure if today is normal pick up day. I live on Bryan st. Can anyone help me out?

I'm in 19119 (East Gorgas Lane) and pickup for both trash and recycling is Friday. This week it's delayed a day because of the Monday holiday. Haven't heard about any storm related delays. If the OP saw the recycling guys today in her neighborhood, then I'd guess she's on a Thursday route, due to the holiday delay.

Recycling is picked up the same day as trash. you can find your day here:

When there is a holiday it is pushed back 1 day. So my normal pickup is Wed but this week it was done on Thurs. Since yours was picked up today I'd guess your normal day is Thursday.

No matter where you live, if you notice that neighbors have put trash and recyclables out, then that is probably trash/recycle day. Unless you live in a really trashy neighborhood. Then it's hard to tell.

Thanks! I'm 19119. Trash day is usually weds. I guess I'll just pay attention to my neighbors. Good idea!
