Default What up with the midvale A Plus?

I don't think it has been addressed on here. Is it being rebuilt or something new? I know the a plus at 23rd and fairmount was renovated, but the guys in there told me the midvale gas station is a franchise, not corporate owned. They didn't know what the deal is. Since its been closed, the other gas station on Ridge has been a total cluster f*ck.

It was addressed here at some point. They are putting in a new building with a larger footprint.

A brand new Chickies and Pete's is going in there. Development to start next month - it was in the Inquirer.

Sunoco bought it back from the franchisee and they're renovating it.

Will it look any less better than the old one?

It should be nicer. I'm hoping for no more glued-on fake brick, for one. More importantly, it'll bisect the site, precluding driving from one side to the other. Plus it'll have doors at both sides, so it should be more pedestrian-friendly; the other one was very confusing for pedestrians as well as drivers.
