    Question Household hazardous waste disposal

Does anyone know of other means to dispose of household hazardous waste? I have a bunch of it that has accumulated. I'm aware of the Philadelphia city program (link below), but based on the 2012 schedule there may not be a 2013 event until April.

    Thanks!

You can stop by the dropoff facility on Domino Lane to see if they will accept it. Offhand, though, I don't think they will. I would say that the reason the city schedules these special days is so that they don't end up stockpiling that kind of stuff.

You're correct, they only accept on scheduled days.

Hmm, what have ye been up to in that house of yours to accumulate hazardous waste?

The previous owners left large amounts of cleaning supplies and home improvement chemicals that are no longer useable. Thanks everyone for confirming what I had suspected. I'll post again if I figure something else out.
