Kenny, at Second Look, in Lafayette Hill, on Germantown Pike. i've been going to him for years and he's the only one that really knows my curly hair.

I have very curly hair (it's a curse and a blessing) and I go to Platinum Hair Co.

Why would you give such a general recommendation? Who does your hair at Platinum Hair?

Well, I used to go to Mel but when she left to have her baby in June, I started seeing Christine who I have since stayed with because I feel that she can blend the highlights in my hair better.

Is that specific enough for you?

Anything new on this thread? My hairdresser just moved and I'm hoping to find someone who can cut hair w/o a razor. Seems virtually impossible...

Johnny Valentine at the Chop Shop on Main has a good curly-hair-cutting method. He does a great job taking weight out without making the cut look like a haircut on top of a haircut. It grows out nicely.

    Default After quite some time

I found someone who cut my hair with scissors. My hair is pretty damn curly. Since i got it cut, women have been stopping me in the street to compliment my do.

I later took my son to the same place and the stylist told me that a few women were in after talking to me. Like the same day!

Her name is Shelle and she is at Signacurl at 19th and Samson. It is a very cool, laid back place with cool art and a dude slinging italian espresso in a bowtie.

    Highly recommend.

Off a recommendation from an acquaintance, I went to Elisa at L'Toile (sp?) earlier this week. VERY happy with the cut and plan to go back soon for a highlight/lowlight (hide all these grays!!). And she works weekends -- SUNDAYS! Can't beat that.
