Does anyone hear/see that helicopter hovering over the area for the past 10-15 minutes??
Could be what it's about, this is a traffic report:
Philadelphia
Ridge Av between Leverington Av and Krams St - accident - vehicle into a building

OH! See "Taxicab through Sneakertown" thread....
Funny stuff because I actually read that one first. Looks like I should be sleeping when my baby is sleeping...

I came out of my home early one afternoon in the spring or summer and saw a helicopter hovering over nearby Germany Hill. I was curious so I got my binoculars and got a look at it. I saw that it was a Phila. PD chopper. I watched it for a bit. A UPS truck came down from the hill and I asked him if there was any police activity up there. He told me that there wasn't, and that the chopper had been in a dead hover for several minutes.
I then got into my car and drove up Fountain to the Ridge. My windows were open, and I heard engine noice behind me. At Pechin St. I realized that the chopper was following me! I think he finally broke it off near Leverington. I came to the unproven conclusion that the pilot was a trainee. The pilot and trainer probably saw me looking at them with the binos. When I got into the car the instructor probably said something like, "he wants to watch us, let's practice moving surveillance by watching him." It was rather amusing.
