    Default Christmas Tree Recycling

The City no longer recycles trees. I just saw this from Earth + Bread Brewery so passing it along ->

    Christmas
    "Tree-cycling"
    Sunday, Jan. 8th
    1 - 4PM
Gabbie's Garden (Chew & Mt. Airy Ave)

Don't send your Christmas tree to the landfill - Tree-Cycle it! Bring your tree to Gabbie's Garden on Chew near Mt. Airy Ave where it will be recycled into wood chips. The City of Philadelphia does not recycle trees left at the curb.
    $5 donation requested.

    Thanks for the info, taxgirl.

Also, the city will recycle your tree if it's dropped off to the correct location.
