Talking Bryn Mawr Running Company comes to Manayunk!

Hey Manayunk! Bryn Mawr Running Company is coming to Manayunk! We are taking over the Sports Works location right on Main Street. Linda has done an amazing job over the past 24 years and we thank her for leaving behind such a great location. She is excited to move onto new things and we are excited to bring new things to Manayunk.

Opening for our store will be APPROXIMATELY 20 March.

YES there will be running clubs and TONS of events!

We will carry both MENS and WOMENS:

Footwear
Apparel (Technical and Lifestyle)
Electronics
Some tri gear
Baby joggers
Glasses
and more!

Great news! I am an occasional runner; I've done a few longer races, including one marathon. I've had some injuries from picking the wrong sneakers (or maybe the way I run is the bigger issue) but it never happened when I got the shoes at Bryn Mawr.

that's great for you and happy trails to Linda! She has always been awesome. Ken from Manayunk running Club is participating in an upcoming 5k to support RDC on March 27th. It wouls great for you to get to know out local community.

Details below;

Ram Run the Rox 5k
The 5k Race start/finish is on the campus of Philadelphia University. The event is co-produced by Phila U, Roxborough Development Corp. and Philadelphia Athletic Charities with proceeds benefitting Philadelphia University Athletics and the beautification projects of Roxborough Develop Corp. for Ridge Ave. 10 year age group awards and food and refreshments will be provided.

I wish you the best of luck.. Opening on March 20th should be perfect with all the snow (hopefully) melted by then and we'll be on the precipice of a new season.

I'm sure there will be people (myself included) who will be looking forward to putting this window behind us and looking forward to warmer weather with the hopes of being as active as possible.
