Default Faulkner estate files insane lawsuit against Sony Pictures

William Faulkner sues Woody Allen? - CSMonitor.com

Frivolous is a huge understatement. The paraphrased quote meets virtually every legal test for what constitutes protected fair use under the copyright statutes. Although there are a lot of gray areas in fair use, the lines are so bright on this one as to be blinding. The trademark aspects of the suit are equally laughable.

The estate's attorneys should be disbarred.
