I worked mostly in hospitality. I have used a family member's address in Philly on some resumes to show that I am not "out of touch" with what is happening there. I would demote myself from concierge to doorman if the pay was enough to get me back home.

I have had two live audition shifts on WIP in the past two years. The GM likes me, but appearantly not enough to offer me a position of WIP or WPHT.

The biggest problem---personally at least---is that my being a stay-at-home father for over a decade is considered by many employers to be not working.

Really?

I think employers should consider raising three fairly exceptionalchildren as a talent worthy of employment.
