Default 311 Request Closed Without Remediation?

I recently posted a 311 Ticket (PublicStuff ~ Doors & Windows Violation Construction Debris ~ Vacant House in Philadelphia) on an abandoned house with Door & Window violations and a front door with no lock yesterday. Just one day later 311 closed the ticket, however, there has been no L&I violation posted on the building, nor any of the issues been resolved. When 311 closes a ticket, does this just mean that they passed it on to the appropriate department? Or does it mean that they're done dealing with the issue?

The same thing happened to me so I asked and got the response that 311 will contact the department for a more specific answer. I don't think 311 even knows. I responded by attaching a picture of the still very much existing problem.

@JakeL, I'm sorry you experienced a situation where your request was closed by the department with no response. I can see that the comment you posted is in the queue for 311 staff to reply to, but as you might imagine with the hurricane this week, we've received *a lot* of requests and comments to reply to. Point is, even if I didn't see this post, a 311 agent would have replied to your comment this week and explained why the department closed the request. You should expect a reply shortly.

@annie, can you show me the request you're referring to (feel free to PM it to me)? We make a strong effort to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

A few weeks ago I submitted a pothole to the philly 311 app. The referred it to the streets department to look at and updated it regularly. However, streets got it and said it was actually something PGW needed to take care of. Streets closed the ticket and said it was referred to PGW. Since then I've heard nothing. There needs to be a better system for 311 or the city departments to tranfer tickets between the different administrations.

I have been meaning to post this for weeks and here is the perfect excuse:
