    Twitter Rules Rile Firefighters Union « CBS Philly

    Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers on Wednesday issued a three-page set of social media guidelines for his department. Included is an explicit prohibition on posting anything that may bring “a member’s or the department’s reputation into question.”

    I guess Nutter wanted to cut off one more avenue that would allow the firefighters to gripe about his second appeal of their binding arbitration decision.

    Are you talking abou having a social media policy or about the Mayor accepting the decision of a neutral arbitrator?

    Ouch. I hope my nearest engine/truck/ambulance isn't out of service when I need it. I can see the administration not liking this twitterer (tweeter?).

    Metro - Are these the tweets that led Nutter administration to ban firefighters from social media?
