Philadelphians, in 2011 more than 300 murders took place in our great city and I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired of the senseless carnage. I'm asking that every resident of Philadelphia take an oath to help law enforcement and elected officials to decrease the murders significantly in 2012. Let's be proactive in addressing this plague that has infected our beautiful city and communities.

And most of those murders were drug related. Yet one of your policy cornerstones is the same old failed War On Drugs staples of, "stricter penalties for drug dealers"? After 40 years, and a trillion dollars the War On Drugs is a massive failure. Drugs are cheaper and more plentiful than ever before, yet you promise more of the same. Your oath is worthless, because it's empty words. And when the citizens you propose to represent ask legitimate questions, your answer is silence.

The only rising you'll be doing is like the unflushable turd in the toilet bowl. You're an unwanted annoyance we all wish would just go away.

They murder because they know then can get away with it. They only way to help law enforcement is to tell them what you know and/or saw about a murder. If they but out a big enough reward, like $50K+, I think people would talk. That would only cost the city $15M if every case were solved. It worked when some Ahole killed a cop. Think of how much it would save in cop-costs as hours needed to solve each murder would be drastically reduced.
