Vasectomies For Kids - Could This Work?

Russia and France give out money to have children. I suppose bribes can be made to work other way around too.

But I don't like the idea of a nanny state "fixing" me up before I am able to show to some authority my ability to raise a family. Then again, I also don't like the idea of Big Brother being able to tell me (my loved one) that I cannot have an abortion. I also don't like the idea of a state being able to tell me that I cannot choose my own timing of death when I am terminally ill and am on deathbed.

I agree. It would do that if we had to get licenses, too! How many people have you seen who don't see qualified to do it?
I think I would be, but didn't for about 45 different reason...I made a list once!
Some people just don't put ANY thought into it before they do it.

(Cue the angry people who DID put thought into it..I don't mean you!)

I'm not angry and I didn't have to put a lot of thought into it!

What criteria do you propose for one to obtain a license to have children?

I'd better get MY share if they start paying people for getting sterilized!

No one will tell ME if I can or can't die if I chose.
But a child is a responsibility, and people SHOULD have to demonstrate that they are capable of having that. It's ludicrous that something SO major in life isn't regulated, in my opinion.

Of course, if that was started, it wouldn't end with that.
