American Lifeguard Certification Classes

Looking for the best summer job around? Become a lifeguard!
If you're at least 15 years old and can swim 300 yards (12 lengths) of the pool, this could be a great new job for you.

The Christian Street YMCA is offering two American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification classes this spring. Class is $250 and includes a text book, CPR pocket mask, and certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillation).

Class 1 meets 5 days.
Friday, 4/29 5:30-9 pm, Saturday 4/30 10-5 pm, Sunday 5/1 10-7 pm, Friday 5/6 5:30-9 pm, Saturday 5/7 10-5 pm.

OR

Class 2 meets 6 days.
Monday 5/16, Tuesday 5/17, Thursday 5/19, 5-9 pm, Friday 5/21 5:30-9 pm, Saturday 5/21 & Sunday 5/22 10-5 pm.

Lifeguard Recertification is also available (LG/FA, CPR/AED, Oxygen) on Sunday, 5/22 from 10-5 pm. Cost $100.
