Should i replace with metal roof?

Our home's roof is 19 years old and i am considering a replacement. I want to know whether I should get a metal roof in place and what are the advantages over asphalt shingle roof. What would be the cost? Also I am looking for a roofing contractor for the job. I am in Toronto and is there any good roofing company where i can get both the material as well as installation service? I have heard about Roof Lines East Inc. What about these guys?

God no, never use Roof Lines East Inc...I can't say why but it has a lot to do with their ham-fisted marketing approach.

Go green and stay away from that other company named Roof Lines East Inc.
