Default Need someone who can repair older windows

I have older windows in my house and I need them repaired. Is there anyone out there in Philadelphia or the suburbs who still fixes them? I've been having a difficult time finding someone in my neighborhood.

I want to avoid paying a lot of money for new windows if possible.

I have not used this company but they seem to do what you want.

Chestnut Hill Windows Chestnut Hill Windows - Chestnut Hill Windows Service Option has done windows in two houses for me.

Call the owner David on his cell 267-784-7440. They offer several services so schedule a walk through and be prepared to discuss what you are trying to accomplish. They provide very simple lost cost services [getting old windows to operate while installing weather-stripping] to their signature conversion technique of "upgrading" old windows to incorporate insulated (and noise reducing glass) to historic fabrication - the windows they built for Boathouse #4 are works of art. I just referred them to a co-worker and they made his leaded glass windows weather tight.

They were part of the team that won the Lower Merion Preservation award for small commercial property.

if you live in a historic district they will get you through the PHC process.

I do not propose to repair old windows. It is possibly more expensive than you buy a new window.

Don't sweat it mate, Debbie is known for posting such questions that she'll never remember anyway, nor respond back to.
