Default Where to get good light fixture for my dining room?

I need to replace my dining room light/chandelier, and I'm looking to go a step or two up from the Home Depot/Lowes stuff without breakinh the bank. Any suggestions where to look, either online or actual storefront?

Chandeliers | CSN Stores - Chandelier, Candelabra

I recently bought replacement sconces for one of my ceiling fans. They were different (not something I saw at Lowe's or HD). Would buy again. They sell more than light fixtures.

Have fun shopping! Hope the link worked. If not, just go to CSN Stores and search for lighting.

There is (or was) a good lighting store on Broad, between South and Kater. He had some great stuff.

    Yale Lighting in Delaware.

I think Overstock always has a good selection as well.

That' a tough question from the op without a location or style. With the price of gas
I would tend to buy online myself, and you never know what you'll find on Craigs Philly.

    edit ~ here's a link for a nice one @ $75- : http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/for/2504064210.html

You might try Anastacia's Antiques on the 600 block of Bainbridge, they carry a lot of chandeliers as well as table lights.

overstock.com is great for lighting. they have a lot of styles you see in major stores (pottery barn, west elm, z gallerie, etc) and more higher-end stuff for a fraction of the price. plus the shipping is ridiculously cheap.

Colonial Electric is good too. They have a "catalog shop" in the city but showroom in KOP. They do store to store shipping too if you see something you like the the catalog. I did this myself and had success.

I've seen one online at the maxim, try to check the site and see if that's what you're looking for. The website is maxim lighting.

Lighting - Home Lighting Fixtures, Chandeliers, Ceiling Fans, Lamps - LightingDirect.com It's part of the build.com network. Great selection, prices and customer service. I bought all the fixtures, knobs, lights, etc for a home remodel through their various websites and all the transactions went smoothly, including returns and exchanges.
