Question where to buy wooden picket fence slats?

I need to replace some broken slats on a wooden picket fence. Any recommendations on a place which has a large selection of them where I am most likely to find slats similar to the ones I'm replacing. I'm in NW Philly, but willing to travel if necessary.

my recollection is that they are pieces of Firing Strips, if they have a point, then you will need a ***saw.
Otherwise, you will need to find a replacement section and sacrifice the slats. The only fence company I ever saw is in Trenton.

Of course picket dimensions would help or a pic.
This place has been around a long time and they will fab to order so they may sell you the pickets~Space Picket: County Line Fence

    > try an add on Craigs 'farm&garden'
    > you'll probably need a sabersaw if you have detailed tips
    > Tague Lumber in Gtown
    > buy a damaged section anywhere to cannibalize

I have never heard of firing strips. Do you mean furring strips? If so, those are only 1" wide and not really suitable for fence slats AFAIK.

I'll try to get dimensions. The slats are nothing fancy, pointed tips, but otherwise no detailing. I'll try Tague and then County Line. Those are very helpful recommendations. Thanks.

    Furring strips aren't 1" wide...but wouldn't be applicable regardless.

With no picture or dimensions...and little information, I would have a look at damaged panels at Home Depot.

    Sounds like a stockade fence.

I think I have enough to go on. I'm sure Tague or County Line will hook me up.

No, not a stockade fence. A picket fence, like I said. Similar to this:

I could be wrong but the 2"x3/4" strips nailed to my brick and cinder block walls, used to attach the sheet rock were referred to as furring strips by the contractor.
The 1"x 1/2" strips were plaster lathe wood.

I know what furring strips are. I have never heard of anyone using them as fence slats and am puzzled at your suggestion to use them that way.
