Default A simple, outdoor, metal hand rail

I am looking for a simple outdoor, metal handrail, for a 2-step yard stair, and not the wrought iron style.

Recall in the past there were 2-3" galvanized, bent pipe designs, usually one piece.
And vaguely recall some were multiple piece, using the couplings and joints for chain-link fence pipes.

After seeing radiator vent covers, I am optimistic that a vendor exisits in the Delaware Valley.

    Thanks!

You can buy those fittings and pipe at HD or Lowe's in the plumbing section and they will cut and thread the pipe
to your spec for free if the standard lengths aren't right. The 4 hole flanges are for attachment and if they don't
have galvanized then spray paint it before install. Use stainless screws or bolts.

Most excellent leads, my friends! These two sites have lots of relevant information.
Aluminum Railing, ADA Railing, Handrail, Infill Panels & Pipe Fittings and BuyRailings - Elbows

The photos in the latter give a very good idea of the finish, which is far superior than the chain link fence fittings I was expecting. So good, that I now will need to shop around for equivalent pipe or tubing. Suddenly, galvanized pipe or electrical conduit does not make it.

This may turn out to be a good DIY project for my neighbor. And its bringing back memories of our Christmas train platform. Those four-hole flanges and threaded black pipe with end caps, painted silver by an 8 year old, made great legs for his trains.

Nice links, I may use one of those systems when I replace my basement railing.
