Default That about sums it up...

Philadelphia has reached it's present prominence as a manufacturing center through the intelligence, pluck, energy, and perseverance of it's individual citizens. The patient work of it's early settlers planted these industries, the untiring energy of those who followed made them prosper, and their present magnificent development is due to the individual merits of the leaders in the various lines of industries, for which Philadelphia is justly celebrated.
