    Frame 83 is interesting; the chains over the street are to warn the trainmen of an approaching bridge, tunnel or something to duck under. The 2 gents with push brooms are in white, I have seen the City Sanitaiton workers in white in other photos.

    My takeaway from post WWII photos were that the waterfront was as tough as in the movies.
