Just found more information on this photo.

The original image was taken during Lincoln's journey to Washington for the inauguration and is one of three images in the first set of photos of the president elect. In this view taken shortly after sunrise, "Lincoln is closer to the center of the flag, standing bare-headed above the third star from the left. ... Tad leans on the rail with chin in hand, gazing at the spectators." (Source: Ostendorf, p. 73-4) Meserve printed only the center of the image for his book, showing the area between two trees.

Default John Clement Stocker House, 402 South Front Street, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA

Significance: A good example of a large Philadelphia row house of the Federal Period. There are many fine details typical of the period including an unusual front cornice and entrance frontispeace capitals, both of which survive only in photographs. The house is located in what was one of the most stylish neighborhoods at the very summit of Society Hill. John Clement Stocker, the owner, was a wealthy and influential merchant, and his son, J.C. Stocker the second, was prominent citizen.

Beautiful stuff. The floor plans of the Stocker House are just like the inside of Bishop White's House. A big federalist arch probably at the end of the first floor hallway just before you get into the staircase area and leading to the kitchen. That's what a call a real row house.
