This is really neat. I enjoy the political cartoons and some of the ads. You could get a suit for $19.95 in 1922!

The drug stories are what got me, worst drug corner around 1918 was 800 block of Christian st.. I grew up around there in the 60s and 70s my parents and grandparents told me some stuff but i never imagined it was so bad.

Yeah gives you perspective on that "good ol' days" clap trap you hear from time to time. People act like drugs and crime were invented in the 1960s or something.

Noticed Dec 13, 1922 edition, pg 36 features a photo at top claiming to depict the childhood home of John Wanamaker, "situated in 'the neck' near Landrath's seed farm". Didn't know he came from such humble roots, or that he was a "Necker".
