    We are #9!

America's best cities for hipsters - Yahoo! Travel

    and the twist:

Hipsters in Philadelphia still have a deep appreciation for old-fashioned diversions: the city ranks highly for its theater and classical music.

I would have thought Brooklyn would be #1. Isn't even on there?! I must be out of the know.

Well we are awash with hipsters out here in Austin...much more than Philadelphia.

Additionally they make decent money out here, combined with the low cost of living...YIPSTERS!!!

They are a subculture similar to punks, goths, vegan, ect... They have a set of rules and looks, but I don't have time to go into it..Its on google to see how you can become a hipster.

Head over to Columbus Boulevard and catch a northbound Route 25 bus. Get off the bus once it leaves Delaware Avenue. You'll be in Hipster Central: Fishtown.

Order a Citywide Special at any bar that offers it - it features the hipster brew (if you can call it that) of choice, PBR.*

*Another hipster hangout of choice is Bob & Barbara's Lounge on South Street in Center City, though it attracts a more diverse clientele as well. This is the Church of PBR.

Respectfully, I'd argue that you don't know what they look like if you haven't seen any in SP.

Dunno where you live in South Philly but pop into the Cantina at Passyunk & Morris. The crowd is mostly stereotype hipster but the servers are off the charts. Food is good too.

it also highlights the changes taking place in san juan that often get overlooked. I went a beer bar with something like 20 drafts and it was so packed people were in the street. in Puerto Rico! not long ago I don't think they even had draft beer on the entire island.

Yes... Spend some time anywhere on East Passyunk and you'll see plenty of hipsters.
