    Default "Trust the bow tie"

On the Universal Sports cable network, there are constant promos for Glenn Schwartz built around the clever theme "Trust the bow tie."

On one of these promos, Hurricane lifts his collar and clips on his tie.

Clip-ons are for groomsmen with rental tuxes and seven-year-olds. If Schwartz wants me to trust his bow tie, he needs to learn to tie it.*

*There is another promo for Schwartz that makes a hash of the geek-nerd-dork taxonomy. That's irritating, too.

I thought this was a thread about Paul Simon.

A clip on? That is weak. I agree that he should learn to tie a bow. It is pathetic that he wears a clip on.

Bow-tie or not, I find him an annoying pissant with an inflated sense of self-importance.

Could it be, however, that the clip-on was simply a graphical demonstration for the promo, and not how he actually wears them on a daily basis?
