I didn't immediately see a previous thread on this. I know that this is a broad question, but which are some of the best bakeries in Philadelphia proper? Addresses or intersections would be appreciated.

Bread = Cacia's between 15th and 16th on Ritner
Pasteries = Potito's between 16th and 17th. (Yes, they are open again)
Speaking of bakeries, does anyone know why there was a huge line at Sarcone's this morning? Is there some Sarcone Christmas tradition I'm unaware of?
WOW... It's a Christmas Miracle.. They (Potitos) have the insanest cookies...
Thanks so much. I'm mostly looking for pastries, but either is fine.
I went to Termini's on 8th and picked up an apple pie, a couple of small cheesecakes, and a few cannolis. It cost $50. A bit pricey, but still not as much as I thought it would be.
