Default Reading Terminal Market Seafood ?

As usual I'm hosting Thanksgiving. Thinking about doing something different this year instead of the turkey. We go to the parade, kids, lots of people, several family members just get in the way, I try to have what I can prepared ahead and ready to go.

Considering seafood like clams, shrimp and crab cakes. Reading Terminal Market at Wan's is generally where I buy seafood. Usually fish fillets (salmon, tilipia, haddock, etc.). For thanksgiving I would like to buy the crabcakes ready to put in the oven. Yes, I know I could probably make them myself. I have a million other things to do though. I'm going to start taste testing crab cakes from Wan's and other seafood places at RTM. This is my preparing for where I will buy them for Thanksgiving. Any recommendations good and bad for buying prepared crab cakes at RTM? Thanks

I usually make them myself, as well, and for ~a dozen people. The place in front of the Beer Garden used to make some pretty good ones, give them a try. Alas, I can no longer eat them so I can't say.

Ouch--2 for $8.50? If Coastal Cave isn't to your liking, take the trip to the place on the 1300 Block of South St. I will be damned if I can remember their name right now, but I can picture the store, and the prices seem more reasonable.

Booby Chez is more expensive, but the crab cake is large and delicious. You can also get appetizer size crab balls for a larger amount of people.

A bit out of my way, but I think I'll include Bobby Chez on my taste testing list. Website link Bobby Chez Take-Out Crabcakes and Seafood: Philadelphia and New Jersey's Award Winning Seafood Take-out Including The World's Best Crabcakes

This options is probably a bit pricier, but the crab cakes are some of the best i've ever had, especially for the price, which I believe was around 7 dollars.

Thanks, they are easily accessible from my office. I never really looked around on the side area of the store where I know they have meat and seafood.
