Good Luck, hope to see you soon!
Fixed. This whole "cold" beer thing is joke, it's not hard to make beer cold. Most beers that advertise themselves as being "the coldest" are bottom shelf swill.

Another european beer aficionado, Some of that $6 a pint beer taste like it was run thru once already. Yeah, go green, save energy, just keep the beer in the cellar.

Bar owner, my feedback on your bar came from a neighbor I know. I did not see your article, if you would link it that would be great, as I would like to see another opinion on the matter.

I plan on checking out your joint, I will eat there and I hope to enjoy it. I will however never tell you who I am as I am a coward

Here's the link. And, for the record, my upstairs has been back open, complaint and incident free for 2 years now.

$6 a pint is a pretty good deal for a quality American brew.

nah, I think gas should be taxed at $10/gallon!

I will gladly pay for a good brew. I do pass on shelling out $4 for a crap Yuengling.

Anyway.... I hope this place opens, I will be a customer.

Isn't it grandfathered in since the previous "establishment" was a bar? Otherwise I wouldn't think they could get a new one since it's so close to a school.

    To answer some more questions...
My name is Jonn Klein. After 2 and a half years, I finally bought the old Bella Rosa. I did, in fact, get the original liquor license, but only after negotiations with EPX, the Attorney General, and the LCB, all of which took the better part of 18 months. Compromises were made, and I met some of my new neighbors in the process. Obviously, Watkins Drinkery will be nothing like Bella Rosa in any way other than occupying the same physical space. With a little bit of long-overdue good luck, I'm hoping to open somewhere between August and October with 6 taps, 30-40 craft and European bottles, and roughly a 10 item menu of creative but reasonable bar food. The second floor will be a game room with pool, darts, video games, and a little extra seating. You should be seeing me come and go, as well as various contractors and helpers. Please introduce yourself - it's already been a pleasant surprise finding out that Isaiah Zagar is my back wall neighbor! See you around...

Yes, wonderful news! Glad you were able to make it through the gauntlet. I look forward to supporting your business... and seeing something positive happening to the old Bella Rosa II location!
