Why wouldn't Zahav work? Early evening, I think it very kid-friendly.

How a out Parc?

Zahav would be great for A., put a hummus platter in front of him and he's a happy camper, but there's nothing there that M. would have eaten. He's in whatever the opposite of an adventurous food phase is!

Anyway in the end everyone was too tired to go out (they had camp on July 4 and spent the whole day outdoors and it was HOT), so I ended up cooking after all. Happy birthday to me. We'll try Jones in a couple of weeks next time D. is home from work.

That was a quite funny line from your daughter and very unexpected too! gave me a laugh though! i suggest that you do try Jones 7t becasue i have brought my kids there and they loved it and at the same time me and my wife was able to enjoy good food as well. this is a place for the whole family, great for birthdays like that have fun! i do hope that you can find a bit of everything for evryone!
