Looks cool. Unfortunately, I won't be in town. I'll have to check it out another time.

Is this the old Rock Lobster?

I'm planning on attending, dragging Scoats along.

Went past it on a Saturday night and they had a cover charge. I assume that won't be the case during the week?

I've already been to Morgan's Pier 3 times since it opened, heh

Saw Dave P, Beautiful Swimmers, and James Murphy. It's a great venue. The crowd this past Saturday was ridiculous though, because it was all spill over from the Roots picnic and the crowd completely did not match the music. My two cents is that thus far, if you are in to Making Time and electronic music it is a place for you, but that doesn't really apply to many in this city from my experience. Hopefully it stays that way, but who knows.

Think I can make this one. Like the fact that the food is all reasonably priced too. If my wallet can join me, I'll be there.

That sounds like what my wife says when she needs to find out if I am willing to go to something!

I kid, I kid. She works hard.

Yeah, we realized that at one point. But I'd say that 95% of the people there were just there for beer, food, and sunshine. It was worth the $5 even just for that.

My worlds collide again Thursday night 6/28 Fishtown Beer Runners bar is Morgan's Pier too. Last time this happened was when FBR and Philly Speaks were both at Khyber. Oh wait, maybe you all did not want the warning next Thursday there will be lots of sweaty runners at Morgan's Pier!

I brought my dad there on Father's day. No cover, nice crowd, nice wait staff. We stayed at the bar(s) but it seemed like the table service was slow. Even the bartender said the table area service could have been improved.
