i'm taking my board exam on friday. i'm guessing it isn't in my best interest to attend this one and i'm really bummed because it is a place i've been wanting to check out!

will someone please try the mushroom french dip and a Clown Shoes Sombrero on my behalf?

I'll be there from about 6:30 to 8:30. We met briefly at Frankford Hall a few weeks ago. I'll say hi if I see you and you don't recognize the group.

Hmmm... another HH practically on my doorstep that I'll probably miss. I can recommend the patty melt - ranks up there with some of the better burgers in town, IMHO. And their Old Fashioned cocktail is like crack to me. If you like whiskey drinks, it's a good'un.

the happy hour spilled out into the street
Police say a roving group of cows crashed a small gathering ...and bullied the guests for their beer.

Boxford police Lt. James Riter says he was responding to a call for loose cows a...nd spotted them in a front yard.

Riter says the herd high-tailed it for the backyard and then he heard screaming. He says when he ran back there he saw the cows had chased off some young adults and were drinking their beers.

Riter says the cows had knocked the beer cans over on a table and were lapping up what spilled. He says they even started rooting around the recycled cans for some extra drops.

Riter says the cows' owner and some friends herded the cows back home.

I pulled an "Adlerian" and spent the entire time at the bar with some friends. I didn't realize you guys were in back until after the fact.

Finally got the snails & biscuts (to commemorate National Escargot Day). Good stuff.
