    Default Yorkshire Pudding Dilemma

My girlfriend was completely smitten by an episode of Kitchen Nightmares where Chef Ramsay creates the perfect Yorkshire Pudding.
After some research, I've found two places in the area that serve it, although one requires a large purchase of a shared roast.
The restaurants in question are The Dandelion (18th & South) and the Whip Tavern (out in Coatesville).
Does anyone have any reviews of these two or any other restaurants that serve Yorkshire Puddings?
Please keep in mind we like to dine in casual attire (she's in sneakers and jeans and no sport jackets or ties in my closet, lol!).
Either way, it looks like I'm gonna drop a bundle for gravy-covered puff-pastry but she's enamored, so I do what I have to, to keep the peace.
    Help, anyone?

The Dandelion will work, I've been in there in a coat and tie, and shorts and a Tshirt. Go for it!

Or you could just save yourself the trouble and make the excellent and very easy Martha Stewart recipe.

I imagine Martha's recipe for the pastry itself is easy enough, but it's the gravy made from the juices of an expertly herbed and seasoned, slow-roasted, British-style beef roast that I'm aiming for. It's the dining experience my girl desires, not her personal lunkhead making a half-assed attempt at mimicking a true English Yorkshire Pudding and feeding her in the apartment dining area for the thousanth time.

Go to Dandelion but they only have the roast with Yorkshire pudding on Sundays and bank holidays. Don't try to make it.

I bet The Dandelion does a nice roast dinner. Probably crazy expensive though, if the price of their pints is any indicator. Yorkshire pudding is easy to make. You can make it with sausages if a roast and gravy is too intimidating. Quite the romantic Sunday lunch: A little footie and some toad-in-the-hole.

googled "popover" and came up with this tasty-looking item at Barclay Prime, if one wanted to go the fancy steak house route....It's 10 p.m. and man, am I hungry. Why did I read this thread?

Ah, I see. Yes, the gravy is the best part. I make this every year for Christmas. Let me know where you go and if it's good.
