My sister and I are going to go Friday for lunch. I hope they still have it.

The apple chips were friggin awesome, and the pumpkin cheese made the burger.

I think many of these variances come between lunch, dinner, and their lounge type nights. I'd certainly believe some of the bad reviews, but I'm also always amazed at how every bad yelp review for any restaurant generally cites an hour long wait". Always an hour. It's the universal exaggeration for first world problems.

Thanks, we will definitely try it. I try not to rely on reviews because most people will only write about a bad experience, few share good news. The food we had the other night was good enough to want to go back.

Crap. I think the pumpkin burger is gone. The new burger is a "Souf Philly Burger". Italian sausage and beef patty with broccoli rate, provolone, long hots, on an amoroso roll!

Who said anything about a conspiracy? I happen to know the owner and he always works to make sure customers are comfortable. Honestly, if their is a forced tip I'd laugh since its 10% less than what I normally give. ...

Not sure where the 'generous' snobbery came from, but yes-I consider a 30% tip to be more than what most people give.

Yikes. PYT makes decent food and I've gotten so-so service during dinner hours when I took family there 2 years ago a few times. Music was wayyyy too loud but it was nice looking out onto the Piazza.

I feel like the food is decent enough, but the service is terrible and the music is impossibly loud. I pretty much don't go anymore because I find the place somewhat exhausting. And seriously, I ate there with my vegetarian friend and we were told that the potato chips served with the veggie burger were not vegetarian friendly. Maybe that's not true, but the waitress thought it was perfectly normal when she told us that.

I am not a vegetarian, so I don't care. I was really pretty sure that she said they fried it in an oil with animal products though. I don't think it was a mere "this is cooked along side meat" thing. But it was a while ago. The waitress was still incredibly dumb and found the question difficult to answer when we asked.
