Anyone notice how much cleaner the area looks lately? I'm not sure if its SEPTA doing the cleanup or if the businesses there (Around the Clock, DEAL$) got together to act responsibly. In any case, it looks great and much less depressing to take the El in the morning. This morning I actually saw a SEPTA employee hosing down the area next to DEAL$, so maybe it is SEPTA who has taken charge of the situation. If it is, we should let SEPTA know it is appreciated. After all, we all sure know how to howl when things need fixing.
