The young, dynamic, Washington D.C. based baroque music trio, Corda Nova, takes audiences on a journey to late 17th & 18th Century Germany, where music was composed in the stylus fantasticus manner to showcase technical prowess with improvisational spirit. They perform works by several German and Austrian composers who composed in this intriguing style, including Schmelzer, Biber, Erlebach, Krieger, and Kuhnel.
