It poses an immediate and ongoing threat to the El and to the occupied apartments and businesses on the south side of Girard Avenue. They already have the equipment on hand needed to do this, now finishing up on Blatstein's burned property.

If this...and the White Elephant at York Dauphin remain standing...it's only a matter of time before fire again threatens to destroy one of Philadelphia's most vital transportation arteries.
