    What a radical notion!

Hipsters have been playing bocce in trendy bars in Brooklyn for at least 7 or 8 years now. Got into an altercation with a particularly douchey group just last year at Union Hall. The worst part, and this is coming from a lifelong South Philly Italian steeped in dago red and bocce, is the drunk girls who neither know nor care about the rules. Grrr

El Camino has the worst service i've experienced by far. I wouldn't go back, but the food is so good.

So weird... I've heard other people say this, but I've always had great service at el camino! hahahahaha I usually go on weekdays after 10pm-maybe that's why? I don't know. I never drink, just eat.

‘Deserve to Die’ posters pop up in some U.S. cities | The Lookout - Yahoo! News

Saw the above article today on Yahoo and it immediately reminded me of this thread...hilarious. FYI, I really have nothing against hipsters...except their waiting habits of course.

I think it's unfair that El Camino gets mentioned before El Rey, in the old Midtown Diner on Chestnut. The servers there aren't really rude or snooty; it's one of those places where they just genuinely seem to forget that they're servers.

Ditto the Baja Room at 15th and South, also sometimes confusingly known as El Rey and like three other names. I swear to God, the waiter asked to take our order twice, and another came to take it a third time, the last time we were there. Again: likeable kids, just not too "on it."

I have lunch there at least once a week and have always had great service.

Never been to PYT but I believe it. At least one restaurant in Franklin Mills does the same. Otherwise, good luck keeping a motivated staff.

And the dumb ass doesn't understand an obvious exaggeration.

And how exactly did that joke make me a hypocrite? I'm thinking that you enjoy using big words without comprehension.

I suppose all half million of us up in the Northeast are of a 'failed make up' that lumps blacks, latinos and portuguese together.

Where did you get that 'failed make up' quote? You must have quoted yourself. I'm so sorry that you have such a low self-image of you and your neighborhood.

And you still haven't explained how that makes me a hypocrite.
