The hipster service I have received has been split right down the middle of good/bad. Whaddaya know just like all service.

Maybe this?
-"Grey. You said green men. A Reticulan's skin tone is actually grey. They're notorious for their extraction of terrestrial human livers, due to iron depletion in the Reticulan galaxy."
-"You can't be serious."
-"Do you have any idea what liver and onions go for on Reticula?"
Hipsters have been playing bocce in trendy bars in Brooklyn for at least 7 or 8 years now. Got into an altercation with a particularly douchey group just last year at Union Hall. The worst part, and this is coming from a lifelong South Philly Italian steeped in dago red and bocce, is the drunk girls who neither know nor care about the rules. Grrr
El Camino has the worst service i've experienced by far. I wouldn't go back, but the food is so good.
I've always had great service there too. But I go there quite a bit and tip real well.

‘Deserve to Die’ posters pop up in some U.S. cities | The Lookout - Yahoo! News
Saw the above article today on Yahoo and it immediately reminded me of this thread...hilarious. FYI, I really have nothing against hipsters...except their waiting habits of course.
I think it's unfair that El Camino gets mentioned before El Rey, in the old Midtown Diner on Chestnut. The servers there aren't really rude or snooty; it's one of those places where they just genuinely seem to forget that they're servers.
Ditto the Baja Room at 15th and South, also sometimes confusingly known as El Rey and like three other names. I swear to God, the waiter asked to take our order twice, and another came to take it a third time, the last time we were there. Again: likeable kids, just not too "on it."
