Where is there any sense of transparency with this group? I heard that some people on these watch groups are registered sex offenders and repeat convicts. Where is there any mention of a budget, 501c3, these people beg for donations but don't say where it is going? Who is behind this supposed local chain of vigilante angels? Didn't one of them slash tires recently?

We had a very effective training session led by a representative from Philadelphia Town Watch Integrated Services. Observe and report. Take note of as many details as you can. Note the environment, the circumstances, specific about any suspicious characters. Form a call chain on your block and communicate to your neighbors. If you have to call 911 a second time, you can ask for a supervisor. Always make note of the operator number when you log a call.

If you have a dog, your'e already a patroller. Carry a notepad with you when you walk your dog to be able to write down what you saw. Visit Home Page of the RiverWards CrimeWatch for information about our group. @rwcrimewatch on Twitter.
Stay tuned for more events. We'll host E&E trainings every couple of months or when demand calls for it. If you or your group is interested in participating in an Eyes and Ears Training, feel free to reach out to us. Email us at info@rwcw.org
