Ok I believe i remember reading in a zoning docket that this property is being turned into some sort of music venue?!

Of course now I can't find it.

If so, huge for the neighborhood.

Anyone know anything about this?

hmmm... i looked up the building on google maps, and i thought this place was going to be a micro brewery (saint benjamin's, after the first location got shot down?)?? of course, i could be remembering it wrong. let's speculate away!

from kensington community zoning meeting email (held yesterday):
6:30 1825-41 N. 5th St. (VOTE) CANCELLED The applicant will not be able to present at this month's meeting. They will be rescheduled for a future date.
General Variance Review: Surface parking lot to serve future entertainment/music venue at 1750 N. 5th St.

Hi, I'm the owner of the brewery/building at 1710. Hopefully I'll be open by the end of the summer for production. I'd also like to put in a tasting room at some point too.
