Default Kielbasa Place Near 2nd & Girard

Someone told me of a place to get fresh kielbasa near 2nd & Girard; however, I can't remember the name. I think it is on one of those small streets north of Girard. Anyone know the name or exact location? Thanks.

(and yes, I know of the awesome places in Port Richmond, but I am interested in this one.)

Not sure of any place for around 2nd and Thompson, (that would be north of Girard) unless it is a new place that may have opened. the only place on Thompson would be L Lachowicz Polish Market

That must be it. Thanks. I think I was told the family name for the store, but I don't see it on the web site and I don't remember it. Also, I think I was told it was on some street that sounds something like "caterwaul", but I don't see a street resembling that near that location.

Nonetheless, thanks. I will check it out soon.

Edit: Ahhh, I was told it was on Cadwallader St. Didn't know it was there. Just finally saw it on Google maps.

Whoah... this place looks good! I walk by it 3 or 4 times a week and never knew it existed. Definitely picking some up today.

Default European & American Sausage Company

European & American Sausage Company is the vogue outlet. Emil's (Bilynskyj) is gone.
E&ASC sells to the Russian Market in the Leo mall, and they have expanded their distribution as far as Brooklyn.

For those of you near Bucks & Mercer counties, try the butcher shop in the Trenton Farmer's Market, Lawrenceville, NJ (I'm wondering what makes Ukrainian kielbasa, Ukrainian, but sample the Hungarian Paprika sausage or Kobasa)
and the www.yelp.com/biz/garden-farm-market-morrisville The latter had a sale at $2.99/lb and was quite good and fooled many who equated it to their $4.99/lb kielbasa.

Remember- 73.2% of the Baba's insist on your buying only the Chunky, with less fat. The other 26.3% say fat is flavor. The remainder make their own, take Lancaster's scrapple, stuffing it in intestines, and call it Kiska. The Polkaholics - Who Stole The Kishka: Free MP3 Download

Cwerz's will be selling pyrohy made by the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, but keep it quite for now

    Wow. Amazing.

My Ukrainian and Lithuanian grandparents will be proud when I show up with a bag full of these goodies for Christmas day.

Check it out on Google maps, it looks really nondescript, almost abandoned. It's a legit store inside, right?
