What made it seem like he wasn't an addict? All we know is that he's a black man riding a bicycle. Addicts come in all shapes and sizes, and they don't always look a certain way.

Well, he confessed. He's accountable for all 3 armed robberies on Wallace street from 7/29 to 8/8. Plenty of evidence to back it up, and there's no doubt he did it. The police are tracking down his unarmed accomplice who helped with the robbery we were a victim of; this is very good news.

If it means anything, I'm kind of happy to know all of these recent robberies mentioned in this thread were committed by the same person and that some new 'trend' of sorts isn't going on around the area. I just moved to Spring Garden 5 months ago and these robberies occurred so close to where I live. And in broad daylight as well. Any news on whether the second assailant mentioned in the original post was caught?

You clearly haven't been paying attention. We're talking about 3 separate robberies, at gunpoint, over a multi-week period. And the culprit was caught. Just recently, failed robberies in University City by a kid using a bb gun were all over the news. But these ones, with a real gun, not a peep. The randomness of what gets reported on and what doesn't just strikes me as odd.
