    Default Scrap metal removal?

Anyone recall the name of the guys who drive around with the broken down truck picking up scrap metal? There is more than one I am sure, but I have a bunch of old metal kitchen cabinets to dispose of.

    Thanks for any ideas!

I don't have contact info, but my advice would be to just leave your scrap curbside on trash night. It will be gone by the morning.

Leave it out before trash pick up or post an ad in Craigslist under FREE. Scrap metal goes fast.

FYI, I have no idea how much they give or what types they take, but I've seen somebody wheel an old bathtub to a scrap metal place on Frankford about 1/2 a mile north of Girard.

Doing both will guarantee pick-up. Trust my experience.

As a precaution, consider separating the doors from the cabinets and check for sharp edges. Better safe than sued by someone who cut themselves on the metal or the family of a small child who gets stuck inside playing hide-and-seek.
