We should not tolerate this from our neighborhood development corporations who are supposed to be model stewards of properties and a force for positive change in the city. Rather than sell the property, Pat Freeland and SGDG would prefer to stiff our school district by not paying property taxes. This is a clear breach of fiduciary duty to the organization -- someone needs to investigate the workings of this organization.
I thought the SGDC was no more? Or was that one of the less reputable neighborhood groups?
