He was jumped during school by 2 kids initially. Punched repeatedly about 8 times in the face, and on the side of his head. Shortly there after suffered headaches, mood swings, and then seizures. When they couldn't control the seizures with several attempts with meds, they chemically induced coma. They never got the seizures under control. Bailey passed after several hours of constant seizures.

Either no one takes Delaware seriously or its just becoming "old news." Only a few global news sites noted that the Delaware State Assembly passed their Marriage Equality legislation and it goes to the State Senate Committee for their review and eventual vote next. No mention of it on Philly.com. I guess after France and Rhode Island Delaware doesn't cut it.

Looking forward to moving into our new home in Claymont this summer (but still wary about the commute back to UCity...)! It looks like I may have a wedding to plan after that!

http://www.philly.com/philly/wires/a...tshooting.html

"CHELTENHAM, Pa. - Police in suburban Philadelphia say one man is dead and another person is in custody following a shooting in an apartment building."

It seems someone got blasted by an AR 15 in Cheltenham. I'd like to see some stats which track murder rates in different neighborhoods. My theory is that as the residents of the Philly neighborhoods which were traditionally the most violent move to areas which they perceive to be more desirable, whether in the city or in the suburbs, they are bringing their habits with them, so violence which was formerly concentrated into certain pockets is now more spread out. The same phenomenon occurred in Memphis, TN. It seems to have occurred in New York City also, with them exporting their violence to certain unfortunate small towns in PA. Philly is a harder read, since we have many suburban-style areas in the city which seem to be destinations for people who are abandoning the hard-core 'bad' neighborhoods in Philadelphia in search of a better life elsewhere.
