Project Basho is pleased to announce the first annual ONWARD Summit, a photography conference and networking event for those who are inspired by unique imagery and perspectives. The event is scheduled for Saturday, February 11 at 5pm.

Coinciding with the opening reception of the ONWARD Compé exhibition, this one-night event will bring engaging presentations by established and emerging artists and an intimate party to share current projects and portfolios with the fellow members of the photography community. This format will actively promote the intersection of visual influences and dialogue, which is the foundation of this distinctive event.

Speakers include:
  • Todd Hido, acclaimed fine-art photographer & guest juror of ONWARD Compé '12
  • Hiroh Kikai, celebrated portrait & landscape photographer from Japan
  • Zoe Strauss, Philadelphia-based photographer & installation artist
  • Peter Barberie, Brodsky Curator of Photographs, Alfred Stieglitz Center at the Philadelphia Museum of Art
